Marc Siegel is an esteemed professional in the spa industry who, founded and served as the Managing Director of the Palm Lane Spa Group, and has been an industry leader in spa, fitness and wellness concepts for over a decade. As an executive within the company, Siegel enacted talks with Gold’s Gym International, a global leader in the fitness industry with more than 4 million members occupying 678 facilities all over the world.
Gold’s Gym knew Siegel and Palm Lane as the successful group responsible for creating award-winning spa, fitness and wellness programs, some, the most respected in the hospitality industry. Gold’s Gym ultimately chose them to be their brand developer, designer and operations manager because of these reasons. Also, they had made them their Master Licensee for the Hospitality Industry. The prototype for PLSG group’s spa concept was introduced at Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles, which featured a new logo and brand elements that impressed and enticed many.
Unfortunately for Marc Siegel and PLSG, Gold’s was bought out by TRT Holding, Inc. before the deal could be completed, which brought an end to Palm Lane Spa Group’s involvement with Gold’s Gym.
